The Wendy’s Story
When Dave Thomas opened the first Wendy’s restaurant, he opened the door to a new gold standard in quality food. Serving high quality food made from the freshest ingredients was so important to Dave that he put the phrase ‘Quality is our Recipe’ on the logo.
Every day, we honour his legacy and continue to live through his values and fresh philosophy by using selective premium ingredients and serving food that's made fresh with every order. That's the way it's always been and that's the way it will stay.
Wendy’s is known for its square ground beef hamburger patties that hang over the bun, made with the customer’s choice of toppings.
When did Wendy’s arrive in Singapore?
In 2008, Lim Bee Huat, Chairman of Kopitiam Group of Companies approached and successfully brought Wendy's to Singapore. We opened our 1st restaurant in December 2009 at Lau Pa Sat Festival Market. Since then, under astute leadership, we have grown and just recently opened our 11th restaurant at Jurong East MRT Station.
